SUPERIOR DUST SUCTION:

-The dust hoods are located at the front of the machine to produce superior dust suction performance.

01 CONTACT DRUM HEAD

-The first head of the sander is the contact drum. It is designed to ensure precise, chatter-free sanding. It is covered with the proper durometer rubber for each application.

02 POLISHING HEAD (OPTIONAL)

-The polishing head (2nd head) follows the contact head (1st head). This head is used in operations when high finish quality is required. The polishing head removes broken fibers while producing a much finer surface effect.

03 AIR BLOW SANDING BELT CLEANING DEVICE

-Effective cleaning of the sand belt is provided by an oscillating air blower located over the idler roller.

04 MICRO-COMPUTER CONTROLLED THICKNESS SETTING

-The sander can be equipped with a micro-computer controller on the control panel. It provides for accurate thickness settings for the conveyer table. The LED displays the thickness setting. The desired thickness can be preset for maximum convenience.

05 PANEL CLEANING BRUSH ROLLER

-The panel cleaning brush roller is located at the out-feed end of the conveyer belt for dust removal. The sander is also equipped with a dust hood to aid in dust collection.

06 SANDING BELT CONTROLLED BY FREQUENCY INVERTER

-The sanding belt is controlled by a frequency inverter that permits variable speed adjustment. The wide speed range allows operator to select running speeds that suit various types of panel.

RIGID TABLE SUPPORT:

The large conveyer table rises and lowers on four heavy-duty jack screws assuring maximum stability and rigidity. The precision machined jack screws reduce backlash to a minimum.

-The conveyer table elevation can be accurately controlled by micro-computer with digital display of thickness value. The desired thickness can be preset for convenient operation.

02 SANDING BELT OSCILLATION CONTROLLED BY PHOTOCELL SENSOR

-The machine employs photocell sensors to control the belt oscillation motions-without any dust entering problems. Oscillating sanding not only ensures excellent surface quality, but also extends service life of the belt. In case of insufficient air pressure, sanding belt not mounted, or sanding belt not properly tensioned, the machine stops automatically.

03 RP TYPE SANDING HEAD

-This series of machines provides single, two and three head configurations to choose from. Also, a choice of contact drum or platen head is available. For mass production, a multi-head configuration is suggested.

04 BODY ACTIVATED EMERGENCY STOP BAR

-This emergency stop bar is equipped at the infeed end. Once it is touched, the conveyor table will lower automatically for safety protection for the operator and the machine.
